You should use a zombie setting, or a modern day military setting, also, what other stuff have you tried before going back to the fantasy setting?
I was going to make it futuristic (you can see a screen shot in my previous news post) but I like drawing fantasy armor, weapons and monster more than designing tanks and vehicles
A zombie setting wouldn't really fit the game series, however I am planning on making a zombie survival game in the future, probably in a post-apocalyptic environment

Nice graphics. They'd work really well as small characters. As bigger ones, the crazity thick outlines wouldn't work as well.
To be honest I didn't really check who had the latest post when I posted - I have nothing about this life guy, lol.
Thanks for the comment, and yes I forgot to mention that these aren't the actual size of the characters; I made them bigger for a better view but actual game size of the soldier is about 65 pixels high
